Why See Us? — NeuropathyNorthShore

Dr. Ellen Blomerth

Are you or someone you care about suffering from numbness, tingling, pins and needles, pressure or odd pains or weakness in either your arms or legs from peripheral neuropathy? Or are you confused as to whether you have neuropathy or some other condition? Have you tried other medications and therapies that have not helped and feel discouraged? While peripheral neuropathy may not kill you, it can sure make life miserable. Well now there is hope.

Dr. Ellen Blomerth is a registered neuropathy doctor, using the NeuropathyDR™ protocols to ease the suffering of those with neuropathy.  She has studied under the world renowned developer of the NeuropathyDR™ protocols, Dr. John Hayes.  It is exciting to see the improvements in the quality of life the NeuropathyDR™ system has achieved for so many peripheral neuropathy patients in our office.
Dr. Blomerth has been practicing chiropractic in Massachusetts since 1984. She is currently co-owner of Blomerth Chiropractic and of NeuropathyNorthshore at Blomerth Chiropractic, in Peabody, Mass. Dr. Ellen is the first woman to be elected president of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, a position she held from 2005 to 2007 and still serves on the board of that state-wide professional organization. She was also president of the North Shore Chiropractic Society for 5 years. In 2007 she received the prestigious Massachusetts Chiropractor of the year award from the MCS. She is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association.

She has hosted the local access-cable TV show, Natural Health Today, on-air since 1995, and writes and publishes the monthly “Natural Health Today” Newsletter and monthly NeuropathyDR newsletter with helpful health tips for our peripheral neuropathy patients.

Dr. Ellen offers a choice of gentle light-force adjustments or traditional hands-on adjusting techniques to improve joint and nervous system function. Her light-force techniques are safe for even frail patients with multiple health challenges. She has used nutritional counseling to improve her patients’ health since 1983, and is also well versed in exercise therapy and a range of muscle therapies.  She has had people fly in from as far away as Italy and Hong Kong and a number of her patients regularly drive in from other states to receive her care.
